The Cascada MDS (Modular Design System) is a unique design concept developed for circular covers that delivers value through flexibility. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a single system that can accept interchangeable circular covers or grates with the same frame? Cascada MDS delivers exactly that. Cascada circulars are manufactured to close tolerances during casting and machining, ensuring that they provide a safe watertight and gastight seal for underground infrastructure. Circular covers are engineered to support class D loads from AS3996.

All circular covers can be lifted with our AS3996 compliant lifting key range. Once your frame is installed, it is easy to interchange from solid top covers, to concrete infilled covers. Alternatively, grates with high hydraulic flow characteristics can be fitted.

The choice and flexibility are yours with the MDS system, so a street-scape which initially incorporates solid top covers – can later be swapped over for infill covers with decorative concrete finishes. Frame infrastructure can remain intact, minimising time and costs.
