Ocean Reef Marina Boat Ramp Slabs

Georgiou Group employed Cascada to manufacture 152 boat ramp slabs for Stage 1 of the Ocean Reef Marina development in the City of Joondalup.
The project consists of 4 boat ramps each with 38 slabs.
The slabs were produced at Cascada's facility in Malaga, WA and delivered to site ahead of schedule.
To achieve the unique diamond pattern on the top surface, the slabs were cast upside down in specially designed moulds.
When the concrete gained sufficient strength the slabs were removed and rotated 180 degrees using our in-house gantry cranes.
Resulting in a great looking slab. Even if we say so ourselves!
